to a high standard using top quality paint systems.
Although initially an aluminium boat may cost somewhat more
than a boat built with some other materials, the
advantages usually justify that cost.
A real advantage of an aluminium boat is its light weight
without sacrifice of strength. The aluminium may
deform but it does not crack or splinter.
An aluminium boat is generally maintenance free, highly resistant
to corrosion, does not rot, warp, or shrink and requires
no painting other than decorative or anti-fouling.
