Description: Adams Carina 44 Encumbrance Check?
This Adams Carina is an Australian design goes anywere, performance luxury cruising yacht, capable of long distance cruising, known for being the Jaguar of the seas is competitive with modern sailing vessels built today. A very strong hull design, and built for the rigors of ocean passages it gives a good ride when the seas become uncomfortable (no rocking horse motion). The design allows it to be easily driven and therefore puts little demand on the steering, auto helm, and batteries. Designed with a shoal draught keel the ballast is integrally mounted (no keel bolts to worry about) therefore allowing entry into shallow estuaries, harbours and places a lot of smaller yachts cannot get to. There are three separate areas for sleeping and the galley is a safe separate area to work in when under sail. This vessel is not a show boat, it is designed for comfortable offshore performance sailing and will not dis-appoint. The vessel is currently being sailed by husband and wife, and is in very good condition. So if you are serious about going offshore please consider for your short list. The vessel and inventory is in excellent condition and is only being offered, at a price well below todays replacement cost, due to the owner having to hang up his sailing boots.
