Description: Colin Archer Blue Water Cruiser Encumbrance Check?
This professionaly built classic blue water cruiser is a cutter rigged steel ketch built by 'Rajo' ship builders in the Netherlands. She has cruised the Straits of Majellan, Antarctic, Atlantic and Pacific Oceans and regularly cruises East Coast Australia. Built in 8 - 10 ml mild ship steel with topsides 5 ml thick and a long keel of 16 ml steel she is 22 tonnes solid with water tight bulkheads and collision door, well founded, forgiving and easily handled by her husband and wife crew.

Oversized Hasselfors rigging and a full sail wardrobe are all in tip-top condition and complemented by a handsomely crafted and fully insulated interior of mahogonay offset by parquetry flooring. All mod-cons of air conditioning, microwave, fridge/freezers, TV, hot water, LED lighting through out, modern head, washing machine etc have been carefully and tastefully installed to maintain the traditional originality & charachter of this classic beauty.

Twin helms provide all weather steering in comfort, for ease of navigation there is a large pilot house with big chart table and sofa /bunk that's great for all night watches or just catching a movie on the tele. The all weather cockpit with its hard cover, full windscreen, shade blinds and bbq is a terrific place for entertaining, launching the tinny or hauling in a fish or five! If you fancy putting your feet up with a book then you'll love relaxing in the newly upholstered comfy saloon with its built in library, while you're there sip on your favourite tipple from the purpose built wine cupboard. In the galley you'll find loads of storage, a gimballed stove, double bowl sink, all mod cons and a built in pantry. The main cabin (aft) is handsomely appointed with wardrobes, dressing tables, LED lighting and brass lamps. A forward V berth conceals the sail wardrobe under and an automatic washing machine is cleverly hidden inside the vanity room locker separate from the modern head which has an electric toilet, full size mirror, shaving cabinet and shower. The yachts interior layout allows for quick and easy access to all cabins, areas and engine bays. The many hatches, portholes and windows give excellent air flow and cross ventilation. A meticulously maintained "little ship" she comes with a full complement of spare parts and charts.

Australian Registered and always ready to sail offshore she is moored at Tin Can Bay on the Sunshine Coast Qld. To find out just how well loved and cared for this vessel is by her marine engineer owner please call and inspect for yourself. You won't be dissapointed.
