Built for Strength to Det Norske Veritas standard.. Strength was a paramount to the owner/builder. For example 850 gram cloth was laid double below the waterline on both outside and inside of hull and doubled again at the keel! to give 3400 gms as a minimum... Many times stronger than a conventional lay-up.
