Description: New York 40 Cruising Yacht
Designed for New York Yacht Club members as an offshore cruising boat, 'Day Break' is one of 21 built by O. J. Young, New Orleans Marine, and Palmer Johnson.
She has plenty of room above and below deck with full headroom throughout, and plenty of accommodation, 2 doubles in the aft cabin, another double or two singles in the V berth, 3 quarter berths in the saloon- enough for your crew, friends and family to rest easy.
The fitout below is clever and solid with quality timber interiors. A 2016 survey of the yacht shows all it needs is some re-varnishing and a bit of a clean up, other than that, she is ready to go, with a full sail inventory stored away in great condition.
The deck was designed by Doug Peterson, she has plenty of huge, self tailoring winches, new main, furling headsail and a huge sail inventory.
It's a great cruising yacht with great pedigree and enormous potential
