Description: Ray Kemp Huon Pine Blue Water Ketch "Prudence"
"Prudence" is an offshore capable, comfortable ketch designed by Ray Kemp and built by shipwright Mick Drake in that finest of marine timbers, Huon Pine. Designed and built for the rugged southern ocean conditions she has two helm stations allowing the skipper to command the vessel from the protection of the pilot house or from on deck. Launched in the late sixties. A vessel of this design and build quality is timeless. The engine is a remarkable and ever reliable 78 hp Gardner 5LW.
