Description: Spirited 230 Catamaran
The team at John Crawford Marine are proud to offer to the discerning boat owner this Schionning designed - Spirited 230 (23') power catamaran.

This head turning, comfortable planning cat manufactured in 2011 answers the call when a boatie is in need of a trailerable cruiser that can comfortably swathe the bay's chop and yet cruise efficiently and very comfortably at 20 knots (nearly all monohull boats wish they could match)

The boat is powered by dual Suzuki 60Hp EFI 4 strokes delivering exceptional fuel economy and reliability to which Suzuki is renowned for. The engines were fitted in 2011 (2010 models) and have recorded a low hours use. Both motors have been both mechanically tested by our mechanics and further tested via our computer diagnostic program. For further buyers piece of mind the motors are also backed by a BIA limited engine warranty. Fuelled by dual 100l fuel tanks and steered by two Baystar hydraulic steering arms and spinning factory fitted props.

As the photos depict, this high volume comfortable cruiser would be in her element with two aboard for overnighting and spending her time taking you around the numerous beautiful waterways along the coast exploring with a high degree of comfort in both ride and on-board. The cabin has a large double bed, plenty of ventilation for those balmy nights and room is provided for a chemical toilet. Access to the bed is via the companionway on the port side of the helm area.

The helm is very well designed even for a fellow as large as me - 6'3" with ample head room and standing at the helm, the electrics are all at arm's reach and ample storage shelving for the nick knacks that one has on-board. Atop the dash is a quality Humminbird 958C colour combo GPS/Sounder including a chart map of Australia. Full engine instrumentation is neatly flush mounted along with the controls for the electric anchor winch, VHF radio and componentry switching.

The galley has been well executed with a built in "Isotherm" fridge, large bench top for the portable stove (not supplied), and loads of under bench storage again for the galley's requirements. On the port side is the seating and although the owner has made a storage bench along with spear gun shelves, this unit can easily be removed and the original padded back rest/seating reinstalled.

Out through the rear lockable door is a self-draining deck with surrounding stainless steel rails and walk through transom. Ideal for the big catch to be hauled aboard or when enjoying a day's swimming/diving or snorkelling ease of boarding is made.

The rig has many features and accessories and include:

Trailered on a June 2011 build Oceanic cat trailer. The trailer has central framing which in turn makes drive on/off at the ramp a simple one person affair as long as you go steady. Although the trailer is fitted with break way brakes, we are informed that due to the hulls inherent design and build materials even with full water and fuel tanks to go much over 2 t. A suitable 4WD will be required to tow this beauty.

At $89,995 tow away, this is one machine worthy of consideration when you research the build price of making such a custom made product. If you have been researching brands like the Powercat, Kevlacat, Noosacat or Lifestyle range of boats this is another worthy rig to consider.

You can have confidence in buying a boat from John Crawford Marine, Queensland's Used Boat Specialists. Since 1964 we have been buying, consigning and selling only the best range of quality used trailer boats.

The advertised price includes written mechanical reports on the hull/motor/trailer. Our trailers are sold in roadworthy condition, right down to tyre pressure checks and an R- clip being supplied on the trailer coupling!

As a member of the Boating Industry Association, our boating industry body, we only use industry endorsed paperwork. Further, engines are supplied with a MQ Used Recreational Motor Boat warranty (Unless advertised otherwise). We guarantee title as JCM supplies PPSR certificates (known as REVS) providing our buyers confidence and security.

As part of the delivery process, on water demonstrations (where practical and additional costs may apply) are offered to assist with familiarisation of your purchase. Registration transfers and Road Worthy Certificates (Qld only) are taken care of by our office staff and paid on your behalf for your convenience.

If you are an interstate buyer, we can still assist with ensuring your trailer is sold to you in road worthy condition, as it's an Australian Standard. Although the trailer is sold unregistered, for a small fee, our staff can provide you with an Unregistered Vehicle Permit to allow you to tow home safely and legally.

Don't live nearby? JCM can assist with arranging transport to mainland Australia via reputable and insured boat transport companies.

Upon delivery your rig will undergo a workshop pre-delivery, boat wash and the sales consultant will complete a handover.

Do you have a trade in? John Crawford Marine is always looking for stock, so why not ask the sales team if they can assist with your trade.

Looking for Finance? Again we can assist with providing you competitive finance rates to suit you and your budget.

Lastly, but just as important to consider when owning a boat is comprehensive insurance. JCM is privileged to offer you two of Australia's leading Boat Insurers, Club Marine and Nautilus Insurance.

On behalf of the team, we look forward to seeing you.
