Duende is being sold to a consortium in first week of July.
A great introduction to ocean racing, passage racing and club racing, this boat is simple to sail but has all the gear to sail at the top level. Also has basic crew comforts like gas stove and water pressure system, but it is a race boat as the photos show.
The vendor will sail train us and also provide all the spare equipment to keep the costs down.
Boat is insured and insurable and can stay on its mooring in Elizabeth Bay until December.
Engine out and reconditioned 200 hours ago.
If you are interested in sailing, thought about the Clipper fees, or the costs some are charging to crew in a Hobart Race, Duende has done it 8 times and ready to go again.
I will assist in training the new crew up to Sydney Hobart competitor level.
Ideal starter boat for those who aspire to ocean racing.
