Renowned for their seaworthiness, this William Garden designed yacht is a beauty to behold. With all the charm and grace of a classic timber yacht, this CT-41 is built from fibreglass and adorned in teak throughout. Orignally available in four versions, the Pilot house offers a raised coach roof with excellent visibility through large saloon windows. It also offers the option of piloting the vessel from a second helm in the saloon.
Mother Goose was recently repowered with a new 60hp Nanni diesel engine which sits under the saloon floor. She has undergone extensive upgrades to maintain her beautiful hull and rigging. Both mizzen and main mast were removed recently to carry out maintenance. The bowsprit has also been refurbished with the addition of a new bob stay. To top the already significant works completed on the yacht, her chainplates, standing and running rigging were replaced in 2016-17. Receipts in excess of $100k available on request.
'Mother Goose' has been with the same family for over two decades never venturing far from her home port of Pittwater. Her plush yet simple interior is an open canvas for someone willing to liveaboard or with plans to cruise either offshore or just locally. Consisting of two berths forward, three saloon berths and a saloon quarter berth with brass interior light fittings and overhead reading lights. The forward cabin is large and open with its own hatch access to the foredeck. There is excellent hanging and drawer storage for liveaboards or long passage making. The interior varnish is in excellent condition and is complimented by comfortable bunks with woollen upholstery. There is an enclosed head with manual toilet and separate shower cabinet forward of the saloon. These can be integrated and fully enclosed for privacy.
Large windows in the main saloon and galley provide excllent light and visibility from the yacht's interior. The yacht's interior and exterior is beautifully varnished with under bed drawers and cabinets. Newport Internal Gas Heater (by Dickinson).
The large teak self-draining cockpit is in teak with varinished capping rails and s/s railings for extra safety. Or if dining. There is a with large icebox compartment for storing drinks on hot days. The spacious cockpit has a spectator raised deck aft of the helm. Deck chairs and cushions offer comfortable seating when underway. Flush decks allow easy passage to the foredeck and bowsprit.
1-double forward cabin with 2 quarter berths. Forward cabin has access to bow with overhead deck opening hatch. Main saloon table lowers for additional double bed. 6 (1 x double dinette in main saloon), 1 x quarter pilot berth, 1 x 3/4 berth main saloon, 2 x 3/4 berths in forward cabin.
A well equipped galley with laminate bench tops and varnished joinery is located to port of the companionway with 2-burner gimbal stove (NSW gas certified). Ample storage in deep opening cabinets and drawers. Visibility to deck from the elevated galley allows for excellent visibility on deck and to saloon. The space offers very good security in bigger seas or if preparing meals underway. A large island division offers cabinet and drawer storage for utensils and crokery with additional storage above the sink. The stove is neatly positioned to port while the sink faces aft. A large top or front opening chest fridge is integrated although needs servicing.

Mast / Rigging
Keel stepped main mast with single spreaders. The forestay attaches to a bow sprit which is supported by a bob stay. Stainless steel stanchions fitted in bronze bases. All standing and running rigging replaced by Ruel Rigging - 2016 -17 with 1 x 19" s/s wires. Chainplates replaced 2017. Both masts removed for inspection, repair and painting - 2016 by Bayview Slipway. Mizzen requires two new sheet blocks. New furler fitted - 2016. New spin halyards fitted 2016. All receipts available.
3 x Barlow 18's, 2 x barlow 22's, 1x barlow 24,2 x unmarked primary winches - all serviced by Ruel Rigging (2017). Stainless Steel boarding ladder. Deck mounted deck wash with new ball valve (2019). Double bow roller. Dorade air vents over main saloon. Bronze opening ports in cabins and heads. Fenders and mooring lines located in port cockpit locker.
