A scaled-down version of the larger Maxum 4600, an affordable price and wide-open interior made the 4100 SCB a popular model for Maxum. Maxum motor yachts have been popular in recent years thanks to their sporty appearance, wide-open floorplans, and large cockpits.
Powered by twin 370hp Cummins diesel engines, the Maxum 4100 cruises at 17 knots, with a top speed of around 22 knots.
Stepping onto the enclosed swim deck, you will notice 4 rod holders and a lockable transom door, separating it from a sizeable back deck. Perfectly suited to those wishing to throw a line in; or pull down the stainless steel boarding ladder and jump in for a quick dip on a hot Summer's day. The back deck contains plenty of rod holders, a wet locker and moulded steps which lead up to the bridge deck.
Head up the stairs and lift the hatch to find a spacious lounging area and a lover's lounge at the helm. Complete with Furuno and Navman electronics, the cockpit is shaded by the extended flybridge. The helm looks out over the large forward deck, which could be used to store a tender or as a sun pad. Fold up the bimini and roll back the clears to really experience the sporty nature of this vessel, a perfect place to share some drinks with friends and even comes complete with a wet bar to rinse the glasses.
Back downstairs, step through the sliding glass door to find a generous saloon with a built-in entertainment centre opposite a large suede u-shaped sofa, comfortably seating 5.
A step-down galley allows for ample storage and comes with a domestic size fridge/freezer, electric stove, microwave and built in coffee percolator- ideal for those who enjoy a hearty home cooked meal on extended trips away. A built-in icemaker can also be found in the saloon. The beautiful black kitchen benchtops match the tabletop in the elevated dinette opposite the galley, which is nicely tucked away, giving a cosy, romantic feel.
Head down a level to find two staterooms, which share a single double-entry head with separate stall shower. Featuring full length hanging closets in each and with doors for privacy, there is plenty of room for the whole family.
A well laid out, one owner vessel and a lot of boat for the money! An inspection will not disappoint.
