Description: Adams 52 - ICEBERG, Just antifouled Encumbrance Check?
ICEBERG is a commercial sailing vessel with AMSA certificate of opertation for 12 pax & 3 crew overnight.
Designed by Adams, she was launched in 1992, competed in 4 Sydney to Hobart races and in the epic 1993 race, placed 5th.
ICEBERG also completed the Sydney to Gold Coast and the Gosford to Lord Howe. Very suited to heavy ocean conditions.
She was retired from racing and was then operated as a successful overnight charter yacht in the Whitsundays for 16 years.
ICEBERG came to Brisbane in 2016 and underwent some refitting work including; new commercial galley, new electric mainsail winch, two new fridge compressors, new seal stern gland, new seacocks, new LED lights and new flooring.
ICEBERG started doing SUNSET sailing, SUNRISE sailing, DAY sailing, TUITION sailing and MOONLIGHT sailing charters.
During this time she has been carefully maintained, engine services competed, logbooks kept and SMS updated.
ICEBERG is now for sale, including her new tender ICECUBE a 3.3m Highfield inflatable.
