Description: 47ft Wooden Motoryacht 'Apanie' Encumbrance Check?
Apanie is a 47 foot classic wooden Motoryacht, that's been converted from the 1945 Army tugboat 'Combarra'. She underwent a total conversion approx twenty years ago including a new diesel engine and Superstructure, and the aft deck was raised. She voyaged from Westernport to Kettering in 2011, and had a second 'upcycle' of her interior and exterior. Since her second conversion she's mainly been used as a very comfortable liveaboard berthed at a marina in Sandy Bay, Hobart. She will suit anyone seeking either a seachange/liveaboard lifestyle, or set her up again for cruising or fishing. Apanie's layout has been made very roomy, open plan, and lightened up with lots of windows. She has a large (approx 4m x 3.5m) aft deck with freestanding lounge, and full side walkaround behind a high bulwark with boarding gates P & S. Headroom in living areas is:1.95m upper deck, 1.9m lower deck, and 1.98m in the engine room. A hallway with two antique ships portholes runs between the fwd and aft staterooms (running to portside of the engine room). Staterooms are; one large open plan fwd, with one Queen size bed fwd, double to stbd, and single to port, and two have custom made and very comfortable futon mattresses. The aft Stateroom is open plan and includes the large bathroom. Apanie has a very reliable Detroit diesel 260Hp engine which can push her along at up to 9 knots. The price being asked will reflect inclusion of a fresh slipping, antifouling, hull painting, and a propellor shaft service. Apanie is a one of a kind, character wooden vessel, with an interior carefully thought out by a professional yacht designer, and has gained much praise from those who have stepped aboard. Apanie has been nominated for the Australian Register of Historic Vessels.

Remarks
Apanie has been used as a liveaboard boat and office for the past few years. She is very comfortable, thoughtfully renovated, and spacious.
She is in very good condition, and has been converted over a two stage period, starting about 20 years ago.
