Description: Alf Settree fishing vessel
The Gentleman is a 30' 1950's fishing vessel.
Based in Watsons Bay, this timber boat was the suplier of lobsters direct to Doyles for over 20 years, and was Built and designed by Alf Settree AO in Huskinson, a master ship builder of offshore fishing boats.
She has a new Nanni 100hp engine installed

She is carvel planked over bent frames with a Raked stem, full length keel supporting rudder at aft end and transom stern with boarding platform. The layout is a typical raised foredeck surrounded by S/S hand rail on deck, leading aft to cabin house and large aft cockpit, which was the "working deck" back in the day!
A great fishing or Sydney Harbour day boat, with loads of great history- The Gentlemen certainly has appeal!
