This Kong and Halvorsen, Island Gypsy 40 has been maintained in excellent condition by her current and previous owners (both Anchorline customers) and has proven to be great for cruising the east coast or just pottering around Moreton Bay.
Boarding from the swim platform, you'll step up onto full width flush aft deck which is covered by a stainless steel awning. From here you can enter the flybridge, saloon or walk down the side decks out onto the foredeck. You can also lift the tender up onto the davits using the electric winches. Being full-width, there's plenty of space for entertaining and you're only a few steps from the flybridge.
Up on the flybridge there's seating for the skipper and crew and a full set of instrumentation and electronics. The flybridge is covered by a bimini and there are clears on the forward section for protection from the weather. There's also a recently added 12v fridge (plus there's an icemaker on the aft deck). The flybridge is a great spot whether underway or at anchor.
Entry into the saloon is via stairs from the aft deck or from the port and starboard side decks. There's loads of light and space, opening windows, a great galley, seating for lounging and dining and the lower helm station with Raymarine electronics. The galley is in the aft end of the saloon and includes electric appliances including a stainless steel fridge and freezer, cooktop and convection microwave.
Aft of the saloon is a private and spacious master cabin. With an island berth, ensuited shower and toilet, and drawers and hanging lockers. Ventilation via portlights on all sides and the aft location make this cabin quiet and cool for sleeping.
Guest's accommodation is forward of the saloon in a cabin complete with two single berths, drawers, large windows, hanging lockers and drawers for clothing, and an ensuite bathroom.
