'Tornado' is a prawn trawler built in Ballina, NSW in 1972 by Keith Barlow. Although she started life as a Prawn Trawler she has been tastefully converted to a live aboard / cruiser. Constructed from spotted gum 'Tornado is solid and in very good shape for her age. She is powered by a CAT 3406D Diesel engine that fed by a whopping 3000L of fuel in 2 steel tanks. The aft room is very spacious and has her own separate toilet and shower, the central saloon/wheel house has amazing panoramic views, a large dinning area and a port side long galley. Moving forward you step down into a second V berth cabin. The exterior has ample deck space and a fantastic awning setup giving plenty of sun protection.
All round a beautiful example of this Keith Barlow trawler thats just been anti-fouled and is ready to use or move aboard.
