Description: Pompei Motor Cruiser 40'
*CHANGED CIRCUMSTANCES NECESSITATE THAT 'ECHO' BE SOLD!

'Echo' has just been on the hard stand for her annual antifoul and polish up and she's looking a 'million dollars' - so she should, she is virtually brand new and genuinely ready for bluewater adventures with YOU at the helm!

It all started with the owner's vision to rebuild a classic Pompei Trawler, into a vessel with the ability to provide his family with a comfortable, long-range passage making cruiser with the highest safety standards.

He virtually started from scratch. High on his list was a trawler style vessel with a Huon Pine hull with the potential for maintenance free longevity and renowned sea going capabilities - a Pompei Trawler was selected for all of these attributes. A suitable vessel was found in Hervey Bay, Queensland and sailed back to Hobart. This was the beginning of a total 'ground up', rebuild.

Tasmania is known for her skilled wooden boat builders, the owner commissioned the best of these tradespeople to work on 'Echo'. The original vessel was stripped down to her hull and rebuilt using only the best of materials by skilled people who really knew their craft. The end result was virtually a 'new vessel' that would win a 'Best at Show' award anywhere she was entered.

'Echo' comes onto the market as high standard (in every respect), low hours vessel set up to tackle long range blue water cruising, the Barrier Reef or simply the most luxurious live aboard one could find.

The pathway travelled to achieve this 'one of a kind', like new, vessel has been well documented. For a more detailed brochure and Video see attachments to this site. For a Marine Survey Report or to arrange an inspection of 'Echo', call Jeff on 0414 236 337 or email: tasboats4020@gmail. Com.

Remarks
We don't often come across boats such as 'Echo', where an owner has dream and the ability to go out, with the support of others and achieve his vision. This vessel sure delivers in every aspect.

A read of the Marine Survey says it all... "The outcome of the refit and pristine workmanship is undoubtedly a piece of art. The detail in the cabinetry and woodwork on the vessel in extensive and to a master craftsman level".
