Wal Shirt is well recognised in the indudtry as one of Australia's master craftsmen of the '50 - 60's boat builders of that classic era. This was Wal's own vessel. Wal Shirt was the foreman of the famous Halvorsen yard until he started building boats on his own accord in the late '50's. There are many Wal Shirt boats still around which is obviously testomony to the quality and high regard for his boats to this day.
