Cool Change is an Ocean going or live aboard Motorsailer/Passagemaker, with easy to handle sail configuration incorporating a Leisure Furl Main and Profurl head sail. Custom built motor sailer PCF 47 Cool Cool Change is an Epoxy composite Hull. Decks glassed foam cored. Superstructure marine ply epoxy glassed, build by New Zealand boat builder Dennis Lobb at Coffs Harbour.
Cool Change is a very comfortable cruising vessel and is a joy to travel on, be it sailing, motorsailing or just motoring. The Diesel configuration gives a cruising speed of 8 knots using only 8 litres / Hr, which has been verified many times on coastal trips. Max speed 10.5 knots. An ideal local or international live aboard or coastal cruiser.
