Description: Curran 46CR "Scorpio II"
Scorpio II is a purpose-designed and built world cruiser with thousands of sea miles under her keel. She has cruised to Europe and back, sailed much of the Australian coastline and cruised from Hobart to Fremantle and back a number of times. Many or most of these sea miles have been completed single-handed or with a crew of two. This fine-looking, centre-cockpit, cutter-rigged blue-water cruiser with almost race boat underwater lines is an outstanding performer under sail. "Scorpio II" is strong, powerful, SAFE and comfortable and as you would expect is appropriately equipped for long-distance cruising.

Accommodation
The well-sheltered centre cockpit with pushpit mounted BBQ is an extension of the accommodation. This is a great space for kicking back and enjoying casual meals. Below deck features include a spacious aft double bed cabin with ensuite shower/head. Moving forward there is a small children's cabin or storage area adjacent to the engine. Forward to the saloon, the galley is to port, and the serious, well-equipped navigation station is opposite. The dinette in the comfortable saloon can seat 6 adults around the table. The table lowers to provide an occasional double berth. The settee can also double as one single berth. Forward of the bulkhead is a private double (or 2 x single) berths in the V-cabin also with ensuite. Cosy heat is provided by the Webasto cabin heater (new 2019) plus a Force 11 gas heater in the saloon. There is plenty of storage spaces throughout including the forepeak, lazarette, and galley, such that gear for a full crew can be stowed for extended cruises.
