This unique 10m yacht was built in 2015 for designer, owner, yacht master and boat builder Chris King to undertake a circumnavigation of the globe. She was built with high regard to safety, performance and comfort and little regard to cost (design to completion in excess of $500,000). We have not seen a yacht of this quality and highly innovative specification on the market before.
The design represents a major advance in the concept of fast, safe passage-making combined with a luxury fit out- all in a 10m yacht. She can accommodate 5/6 comfortably. She is easy to sail single-handed, has been tow-tested at 20 kts and is extremely stable.
'Angel's Dance' covered 10,000 kms on her maiden venture... Fremantle to Cocos Islands, the Andaman Sea, Sumatra, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand before her owner sustained a serious injury ashore that prevented him from continuing RTW and required him to return to Fremantle.
She is a truly extraordinary yacht, built for endurance and speed and is equally at home cruising around or racing but really comes into her own when sailing offshore. If you want to go places, this is the boat for you. This yacht will turn heads, get you there in half the time and in both comfort and style.
This state-of-the-art yacht now needs an owner who wants to experience adventure and appreciates the diversity of sailing that this boat offers. She has duplicate back-up systems for practically every system onboard including fuel and water tanks, pumps and nav aids. Removable long-distance tanks when racing, specially made jib bags for the forward deck for a quick neat changeover of headsails, a furling 'screecher' spinnaker - these are just a few of the many additional features incorporated into this boat. Only an inspection will enable true appreciation of her design and many safety and performance features.
The current owner may consider some degree of part exchange or partial finance and is willing to deliver the yacht himself to the eastern seaboard subject to agreement. For potential buyers inspecting from outside WA, the owner will re-imburse buyer's air fare to Perth upon completion of sale.
