IOR offshore racing design by Sparkman and Stephens, the Savage Defiance is a very well-balanced sailing yacht - especially on the wind, with impressive interior volume for its length. Spinola Bay is ready to sail away, and is a well-lit, dry and comfortable vessel to lounge around in after a day's boating.

Substantial upgrades over the past 2 1/2 years include new standing rigging, new engine, gearbox and propellor, new windows, all new canvas and clears. A boom bag, lazy jacks, anchor winch, davits & bimini were added, the manual pump in the head replaced, the quarter berth and battery compartment rebuilt with room now for a third battery if desired, the forward berth stripped and re-lined with fresh and modern textile finishes, and refrigeration added to the ice-box. She has a new wind indicator, tri-colour and anchor light on the mast-head, a steaming light and deck light have been added, and new professionally-fabricated tinted acrylic windows have been installed.

"Spinny B" is reluctantly up for sale because owners have moved interstate due to work.
