Markissa is a traditional Tasmanian Cray boat built in 1986 in Australia for the owner of Muir winches.

Designed to tackle southern Australia's challenging waters, Markissa has a bullet-proof hull and will safely potter along at 7 to 8 knots all day long through storm and sunshine.

The yacht's layout comprises offers the flexibility to accommodate a large family or group of explorers with one aft cabin with two single berths and an ensuite, and a spacious ensuited master cabin forward with bonus wrap-around sofa that can be converted to a double bed and three single berths.

The open-plan galley is practical and the yacht can comfortably seat six for dinner inside her cozy nook, while the open foredeck provides plenty of outdoor seating along with bean bags for additional comfort.

Markissa's recent history has seen her take friends and family on fun outings to the islands of Phuket and Phang Na Bay with their kayaks and fishing rods. Previously she spent many a year exploring the island and archipelagoes all around Australia, Indonesia, and Thailand's cruising grounds with a motorbike on board for her thrill-seeking owner to chase land-side adventures.

Markissa has a phenomenal range with approximately 3000 litres of diesel and 8,000 litres of water storage. With such a big fuel range, she has assisted other cruisers in far-flung tropical paradises with her 1ltr/Nm fuel consumption.
