ENDURANCE 35  

A fine, production example of the Peter Ibold designed Endurance 35 pilothouse cutter rigged sloop, renowned for it's elegance and comfort in a seaway. ADRIANA was built to a very high standard by Prestige Yachts in W. A., fitted out in teak and fitted with an insulated solid roof to the cockpit to make steering more comfortable in rain or sun. The pilothouse provides a bright, airy and cheerful living area, with good communication to the outside and ample headroom. It has a secondary steering and anchoring station in the cabin, with external nav station and controls in the cockpit. The galley is aft, on the port side, with a very functional layout and great visibility. The shower/toilet is aft on the starboard side, conveniently close to the cabin entry for freshness and above water level for safety. There is a V berth, 2 single berths amidships and a fold out double berth in the cabin. The vertical battened mainsail can be reefed and furled in mast and the genoa is fully reefable, so the boat is easy to single hand. The hull has now been antifouled and polished, teakwork has been sanded and refinished. Everything works except the owner, who has poor balance.
