BARGAIN. !!! Spacious 30 footer, typically of the era, overbuilt with a heavy fibreglass layup, with consequecutive antifoul slippings showing no signs of osmosis. Built by De Kleer in Canada, this boat cruised the Pacific before entering New Zealand, where the current owner boaught her in 2008. He subsequently refitted the boat with a new engine, heavier rigging, before sailing the boat across the Tasman to Townsville, where he and his wife and two small children lived on the boat for several years before moving ashore and regretfully placing the boat on the market. The owners work has him out of town a lot and the boat does not get a lot of use in recent times, My own observations of the boat out on the bay is that it sails surprisingly well. This is a great begginers boat, ideally suited to a young family, or enjoyable weekends on the water with freinds. The price is right, and its ready to go.
