The J/99 is World Sailing Plan Review Approved for Cat 1 and 2 racing plus is Category A build. This demonstrator J/99 comes with a comprehensive sail, instrument and autopilot package. She also includes luxurious and comfortable soft-deck (Ultralon foam) on the side decks, cockpit seats and cockpit floor.
The J/99 is the latest edition to the J/BOATS range and is a racer that is both accessible and high-performance. The sail and deck plan are optimised for easy handling with fewer crew, all the main controls are accessible from the helm. Her light displacement combined with substantial stiffness and refined steering will enable you to sail with complete confidence. The J/99 features a comfortable layout for offshore passage making. Her spacious interior comprises two individual and symmetrical aft cabins, enabling you to rest whatever the tack. In addition, her forward heads compartment, L-shaped galley and forward-facing chart table make her highly functional and add to your comfort on the water.

Tapered, fractional AG+ aluminium mast with black anodized finish includes two pairs of swept spreaders attached with through-bars. The mast is a keel stepped configuration with adjustable mast step. The mast section shape was developed specifically for the J/99 and includes a unique extruded track to accommodate standard luff car sliders or bolt rope on mainsail. Black anodized AG+ aluminium boom with internal 8:1 clew outhaul system to lead to cockpit, boom vang attachment, mainsheet block termination with sheaves for two reef lines and outhaul. Rigid boom vang with double ended 18:1 purchase to cam cleats on aft corners of coachroof. Dyform standing rigging. Soft backstay 48:1 cascade purchase system. Fixed carbon fibre bowsprit with tack line padeye & underside bobstay attachment. Mast track with removable ring for whisker pole.
