CHANTANA is a 2003 Oyster 56 and is in her second ownership. She is easy to handle with hydraulic push button furling to her mainsail, genoa and staysail, all controlled from the cockpit. She sleeps seven in four cabins, and her interior joinery is finished in light oak, giving an open and modern feel.
The 56 was the first Oyster design to be drawn for us by Rob Humphreys, beginning a partnership that continues to this day. The 56 is perhaps the quintessential Oyster design and was the undisputed class leader at this size for more than a decade. The key to her success is her size; large enough for rapid ocean cruising, and to accommodate her crew in comfort and style when living aboard, but also compact enough to be handled by a couple without crew.
Well cared for, and ready to go sailing again, CHANTANA has benefitted from good maintenance and constant upgrades which include a new generator.
