Description: Passport 40 Robert Perry
UNDER OFFER. DEPOSIT TAKEN
This beautiful Passport 40 attracted a lot of attention when it listed 12 months ago. Because of it's superb condition, It sold very quickly. Since then, the new owner has changed plans which means the opportunity to buy this exceptional boat has opened again. In the short time of ownership, Little Wing was spoiled with many additions, both fun and practical.
These include: A Hobie inflatable stand up paddle board, an E wincher electric winch handle, a new highfield 3.1 alloy hard bottom tender with an electric torquedo travel 1003 motor, a new silent flush electric toilet, fully serviced engine, new Genoa, gas compliance, new gel house batteries and new leather cockpit cushions. This is on top of the extensive features already on the yacht, read on below!
Passport 40's are well renown blue water cruising boats, that make fast passages while being manageable and reliable. You will find many articles praising their sailing characteristics, quality of build and materials which has helped put it in the top 10 of Cruising World Magazine's 40 best sailboats, along with 2 other Robert Perry designed yachts. The abundant teak, inside and out, shows superb craftsmanship. The sculptured handrail that runs the full length of the saloon cabin is made of a single piece of teak, 6 metres long. In fact, all the teak on the boat is sourced from the one tree. Every hinged door and cupboard still closes tight and true. The centrally mounted engine, under the saloon table has excellent access, which they say translates to better maintenance. Little Wing has been set up for extended cruising, including many power sources, shade and weather covers, including a zip on deck shade cover that culls rainwater into 2 hose connectors for capturing rain. There is excellent safety gear including solid rails that replace the upper life-lines between the cockpit and the coach house roof handrails. Little Wing is fully imported into Australia with taxes paid. It is rare you will find one of these superb boats available in Australia and rarer still to find one in this top condition.
