This is a Laurent Giles design Salar 40ft centre cockpit deck saloon yacht.

It is a centre cockpit version with seperate owners stateroom in the aft of the vessel with bow cabin and saloon in the main section of the yacht.
This ocean going cruiser will take you anywhere in comfort and safety.
With so much renewed on the yacht she is ready for her new adventures with a willing new owner.
Built (strip planked) in 1972 for a Perth industrialist, she was let go until discovered in Shark Bay in about 2013.
Then after was rebuilt and restored to better than new over a five year period.
Re launched in 2019, she took us to the wooden Boat festival in Hobart and back to Port Phillip in style and comfort.
Her spacious centre cockpit is an appealing entertainment area and separates the main cabin from the Aft sleeping cabin with its en suite electric toilet
Her restoration saw a complete re build including all new:
Yanmar 130hp turbo Diesel engine - (200 approx hours)
8kva Diesel Generater
Two electric toilets
New sails and rigging
All restored bright work, cabin windows and teak trim. New teak laid deck
Her King Billy Pine hull taken back to the timber and two pack finished
