NOW REDUCED - Unique in Australia, this 2012 built XP 33 Sports Racer - Cruiser from X-Yachts of Denmark exhibits the high level of quality in design, construction, equipment and performance that we have come to expect from this World Class manufacturer. Contemporary in style, she features a plumb bow, fine entry, a narrow waterline and flared aft sections which combine with a chine to aid her already excellent stability. Tiller steering and the deep rudder ensures you will appreciate her finely balanced sailing qualities in all conditions.
The X-Yachts XP 33 delivers exciting performance in an easily handled package. Her generous cockpit, well laid out equipment and upgraded Harken 46 primary winches makes for easy sail handling. Asymmetric spinnakers are flown from a retractable sprit requiring less crew and delivering excellent boatspeed. She's a good performer upwind too with non-overlap jibs and a generous mainsail. The XP 33 is a compelling choice for a full crewed race team or for the growing two-handed racing scene. Jib in-haulers, adjustable jib cars, a 32:1 dyneema backstay and a cylinder vang are just some of the many performance sailing refinements you'll find on this visually appealing yacht.
X-Yachts has employed state of the art contruction techniques which see her hull and deck vacuum infused GRP with core and with solid glass laminate in way of the keel floors, rudder and saildrive. She is powered by an economical Yanmar 3YM-20 diesel engine with Saildrive. The yacht is fitted with a Raymarine MicroNet wireless performance electronics package thjat includes an Axiom 9 plotter with Navionics charting, an autopilot, a VHF radio and AIS. Sails comprise recent mainsail, 2 jibs and 2 spinnakers.
The XP 33 provides a level of accomodation comfort and quality below decks that belies this size and style of boat. She can sleep 6 in 3 generously sized double berths with room on the settees for a couple more when required. The galley features a gas stove and oven that has never been lit, a sink with hot & cold water and a spacious front opening fridge under the chart table. The central saloon table can easily be removed to allow for speedy sail handling below decks. Light and ventilation are well provided throughout.
With her original owner now upgrading to a larger X-Yacht, this immaculately presented XP 33 presents a unique opportunity to enjoy sailing a yacht of undeniable quality and performance.
