Description: Markham 7.0 Patrol Cabin
Dominator 7mt Patrol Cab in 2C survey 6+1
We have priced this vessel to now sell
It has just completed a full service and is turn key immaculate and ready to work or play.
About the boat:
Markham Dominator, I tested many cats before I chose to buy and felt this brand was dry, leaned in on turns, felt safe and rode extremely smooth over sea conditions with extremely good stability. I found some other brands to bring mist over the back deck that was no good for my customers, and felt wierd when some other brands lean out on turns. I chose the Markham and never looked back. I have modified the internal cabin with two big esky seats that have soft cushion seating. This allowed me to travel with customers sitting and hosting more numbers in the cabin. I also put all new non slip flooring down that consisted of new paint with grit and she's looking new again. We are running blue rubber matting throughout the vessel on top for a little extra comfort, but if your bleeding fish on the deck we recommend it comes out - hence the non slip deck. I've also added a small hard top extension off the cabin to gain a little extra shelter, it's not much but it makes a big difference on the hot and wet days. I have a problem, and that is I'm a clean freak. This vessel has been cleaned every trip to the most extreme and quiet often get told I will wash the paint off it. Just who I am, and everything I own is extremely well kept. The boat has loads of options. Stress Free Mighty winch, Furuno VX2 15 inch screen with plotter, 42NM radar, sounder. VHF and 27meg radios, CD USB Radio player, Loud Hailer, Horns, Flood Lights, Grab rails, Rocket Launcher, 8 x rod holders, walk through rear ladder, 2 x dive doors that a wheelchair fits through, rod holders in cabin, all safety equipment to survey
About the engines:
Twin Mercury 150hp Verados. These quiet and powerful 4 strokes are super charged. They are running 4 blade props that give you the lift to get up on the water quick and save fuel. They have never missed their 100 hour service and just complete a full service with all new parts. They burn around 50lt combined per hour cruising about 46km per hour. She loves to purr at around 4,000-4,200rpm. I have always flushed and cleaned them to perfection. They now have about 2,600hrs on them and will continue to run about the same again problem free. I have ran this engine for 5,800 hours before on a previous vessel. They have a binical wireless control throttles that are smooth as, and have option buttons on the controls for dual trims, idle speeds, synchronization for revs etc. They are also quiet so you can talk easy while your traveling.
About the trailer:
I built a new tri-axle full aluminum drive on trailer a couple years ago. I put 6 new mag wheels on it, 2 speed winch, LED lights with clearance lights on the guards, stainless calipers, bearing buddies, spare wheel on the front, full length teflon skid up the trailer so it has point of contact all the way up rather than a ladder effect. I launch it on my own, simply disconnect everything, jump in and start up, then reverse off with a little rev. To load her on, I just reach through the cabin window and tap one engine into gear and guide the nose in, then I jump on and follow the drive up to the top and connect it back up, then shut down. I've built the trailer for simple launching so I can do it all on my own.
Wrap:
After running fishing charters for 24 years, the SA snapper ban killed me. I've diversified into boat tours and glass bottom kayaks. This has gone big and my boat can only take 6 passengers. I'm needing to take groups up to 20-25 so this is why I'm selling. I don't wanna part with the boat, but I have to so I can buy a bigger rig to host more passengers. I started with the Covid price, but now feel it just has to go so I can upgrade. I've made good money out of this boat so I feel it's fair to sell at a good price tag. If you compare the year and price to other twin hulls in survey, you cannot find a better boat online.
Started at $155,000 now $129,000.
This is great value for money.
