Salthouse Boatbuilders first started in 1956 with John Salthouse building his first launch and this remarkable family of boat builders continued on from there even to this current time.
Ocean Spirit is a beautiful 57 ' Salthouse cruiser capable of those long range adventures or equally at home with those luxury stays at Rottnest. The layout is just so functional and appealing from the aft rear galley, cockpit alfresco area to the outside bathroom/ toilet. The large cockpit with double transom doors and hydraulic swim platform ticks off some big items on the "I want list "
The enclosed air conditioned flybridge and internal staircase are some more ticks on that list we were discussing with a very generous flybridge area and seating. Its great that you can open the rear to get air flow if you dont want to run the airconditioning.
Twin Volvo D12 715 HP turbo diesels with 2237 hours with regular servicing. Kohler 16kva genset with 3961 hours
Ocean Spirit is in very good condition and very well optioned with that list below. The hull was soda blasted in September 2023 which means a clean slate as far as the antifoul goes.
