Description: Blue Bird Yacht
REDUCED 'BALIA' is a rare Blue Bird of Thorn designed by Arthur Robb in the United Kingdom. The unique thing about this design is the rounded bilge construction and the twin keel designed so she could be beached for routine antifoul. The deck layout is awesome with generous walk around space very few tripping hazards and it hsa a centre cockpit with a solid dodger. The internal layout is spectacular, the open plan living includes a double set back from the V yet easily accessed from the saloon. The galley is well appointed and designed for serious blue water sailing. She has a great working area located on the port side walk through to the aft cabin and a crew quarter berth on the starboard side in reach of the nav station. There is plenty of storage room in the aft lazarette and in the front V where the head is located as well as various cupboards through out the boat. If you have not been on a Blue Bird of Thorn this is a must see boat the design is well ahead of its time they are a comfortable motor sailor with plenty of space to enjoy and 'Balia' is no exception. She is a beautiful blue water cruiser with plenty of space to live a board
