Description: Ovni 385 WELL EQUIPPED, QUALITY BLUEWATER CRUISER!
Renowned for being the 'Land Rover of the seas' Ovni's boast an exceptional reputation for their build quality, Bluewater capability, and comfortable interiors. With their tough aluminium hulls designed to cross the world's toughest oceans, these quality vessel's are often found exploring the most remote and pristine cruising grounds. Their unique lifting keel and rudder configuration also allow the vessels to explore the shallowest creeks and anchorages, and can even be beached. This Ovni 385 is an excellent example of the design and was sailed from France to QLD over a number of years by the original owners. It then benefited from an extensive refit in 2015/2016 including NEW STANDING RIGGING, NEW PREMIUM CRUISING HYDRANET MAINSAIL AND FURLING GENOA, AND NEW B&G ZEUS 2 CHART PLOTTERS AT THE CHART TABLE AND HELM. The vessel was then purchased by the current owner in 2019. With Ovni's few and far between in the Australian market, this vessel now presents a rare opportunity to enjoy a seriously capable and comfortable yacht which can fulfil even your most ambitious sailing aspirations. Whether you want to explore the stunning waters of Southern Tasmania, enjoy the liveaboard lifestyle, or head off on the ultimate adventure, this is a vessel that can do it all with ease!

Stepping inside, the quality timber work and clean white finishes create and warm and welcoming ambience. The generous saloon features a large folding leaf dinette over the centreboard case, with seating for 8 in comfort on the neatly upholstered settees. The well appointed galley is to port and is cleverly set up for easy use whilst underway. It is fully equipped with a large top loading fridge, 2 burner gas stove with oven, central stainless steel double bowl sink with H/C pressurised water, and plenty of storage for extended cruising. This vessel features the prefered two cabin layout, ideal for cruising with family and friends. The generous master cabin is forward and features a generous double v-berth and plenty of storage. Aft is the large private double cabin, and there are two single settee berths in the saloon when additional accommodation is required. The spacious bathroom is to starboard and is complete with a manual toilet with holding tank, H/C shower, and vanity. In front of this is the large chart table which is sure to please even the most discerning sailor.

Outside, the vessel has a utilitarian feel, and it is clear that it is built for adventure! The generous cockpit is adorned with comfortable cushions and is a great space to relax and take in the views under the protection of the spray dodger. This vessel is well setup to be easily sailed short handed with the mainsail in a boom bag with lazy jacks, furling headsail, Harken self tailing winches, and autopilot controls close at hand. There is easy access around the side decks, and an electric anchor winch on the bow. The vessel is also fitted with 3 reels of warp for tying lines to the shore in tight anchorages.

This vessel is powered by a Volvo 50HP Diesel Engine with only 1548hrs on the clock. This provides easy cruising at 5-6 knots, and is easily accessed for simple servicing.

Complete with SOLAR PANELS, PORTABLE GENERATOR, TENDER AND NEW 2021 OUTBOARD, KEROSENE HEATER, COMPREHENSIVE SAFETY EQUIPMENT AND SPARES, this is an opportunity not to miss! Whilst the decks would benefit from a fresh coat of paint, and the vessel is due for an antifoul, this is a vessel that can make your dreams a reality.
