The new Beneteau Oceanis 55.1 is part of a new generation. The revolutionary Berret - Racoupeau hull is designed to deliver a fast and supremely comfortable ride. The mast has been moved aft, resulting in an easy to handle sail plan and further improving the performance. The super-large cockpit is uncluttered with a self-tacking jib and German mainsheet system as standard. The 55.1 features Beneteau's Dock & Go mooring system... An on-board intelligence system that simplifies manoeuvring by using a joystick control... Making mooring easier than ever before.
The steps of the Oceanis 55 flow into the cabin, so that you feel as though you're gliding downstairs rather than climbing down a ladder. 8 portlights illuminate the luxurious interior, as well as side windows in the aft cabin, three deck hatches forward, and numerous sky lights both large and small on top of the coach roof. The impressive beam of the Oceanis 55.1 means there is ample room on the yacht for up to 4 cabins with 2 or 3 heads and a seperate shower in the owners cabin. The U-shaped galley is to port, and includes a dishwasher, a top and front loading fridge, and a pop up flat-screen tv in the saloon. A double stainless steel sink faces aft, and the stove and oven outboard. The new curved chart table is a clever addition to the contemporary interior.
