The design brief to Humphreys Yacht Design studio was to create a optimum performance yacht offering a perfect balance of speed and ease of use for short handed crew asking for superior sailing expirience and on the other hand safe and fast crusing with family and friends.
The innovation continues with Elan E3 being the first yacht in her class offering twin steering wheels system enabling excellent control in connection with twin rudders maximizing the space and motion in the cockpit.
Moreover S stands for sport, speed, sea, sailing... And the new Elan S3 version stands for superior construction with using Elans legendary VAIL (Vacuum assisted infusion lamionation) not only on hull but also on deck, throughout use of vinylester resin, composite main bulkhead and extensive attention to weight savings across the yacht which is resulting up to 6% lighter yacht for achieving ultimate fun factor.
Inheriting the qualities from immensly succesful Elan 350 (2011 European Yacht of the Year award winner) and most recent addition to Elan performance range - Elan E5, Elan E3 is fast and elegant new sailboat where Elan continues to set new standards in design in construction.
