Modern look and design with clever, functional solutions. The new Nimbus 405 Coupé is the largest of the popular and award winning "sidewalk" Nimbus Coupé series. The "sidewalk" deck layout maximises walking space to starboard and makes it very easy to get on and off the boat and spend time on deck, while providing especially generous roominess in the cockpit and cabin.
The 405 is the largest of the Nimbus Coupé series, which includes the 305,335 Coupé and the 365 Coupé. The 405 is based on the same concept as the award winning 365 Coupé, voted "European Power Boat of the Year 2012".
The boat has many features that are similar to her smaller sister with the addition of several new solutions. These include the D-pillar in a new design with integrated ventilation, wholly glazed aft door, electrically powered table on the aft deck, "granny hatch" in the stern, new engine room ventilation design with active outtake, a galley in new design with ceramic LPG hob and dark Corian® work top etc.
Like the other models, the 405 Coupé is of modern design with welded windows, a large wraparound windshield, opening flush-fitted sliding door to starboard and a large opening sunroof. The flush-
fitted side door is an integral part of the craft's design while providing maximum walking space and a large door opening. The side door also allows the helmsman to steer the boat while standing on deck.
The polyurethane welded glazing of the superstructure provides a modern look with unusually good stability and a very quiet saloon. The helm has been remodelled with an instrument panel that can be equipped with two 12 inch plotters side by side.
The boat has a large aft deck flush with the bathing platform and saloon. The saloon features generous sized flat surfaces and is light and airy, roomy and modern while textiles and cushions add a sense of cosy intimacy. The excellence of the joinery in saloon and cockpit provide a wonderful atmosphere of craftsmanship and quality.
The interior of the boat is beautifully finished in terms of quality and materials and provides a feeling of spaciousness. The bulkhead is finished in light coloured textiles that both enhance the sensation of space and absorb sound. The boat has three cabins. The main cabin, with a separate entrance to the toilet and shower, and two side cabins with shared toilet.
Taken as a whole, the 405 Coupé is a modern, solid and comfortable boat that exercises a minimum of environmental impact and is suited perfectly to an uncomplicated and enjoyable life at sea. The Nimbus 405 Coupé will be launched in 2013.

The beautifully finished joinery in the saloon and cockpit exude a wonderful feeling of handcraft and quality. The large U-sofa seats 6-8. The dining table folds down into a cocktail table with glass holders, making the saloon a handy place for socialising.
