Overview
Big, comfortable, safe and remarkably easy to operate by yourself are the takes aways I took from a day onboard this Boston Whaler 405 Conquest. When you add the latest power option it then becomes a seriously great boat for a unique selection of boaters.
The bigger counter rotational props and gears on the V12's are very noticeable when powering this boat onto the plane. She's also a perfect match for joystick operation providing some of the most straightforward and simple operation I've experienced via joystick on outboards which I think may be down to the width between the two outer motors providing greater leverage and therefore control.
But it doesn't end there as the space utilization and quality of fit and finish below decks and even into the bilge is true Boston quality.
You do need to learn how to trim her correctly however and you'll see me discovering this in the test drive video along with plenty of other interesting features and performance details.
