A half share available in this 2018 delivered example of Australia's most popular production yacht. This one ticks all the boxes with by far the most popular two-cabin layout and standard sail plan. Being a later model, it has the larger owner's cabin and is also optioned with the lighter interior timber, which combined with its off-white upholstery really gives it a contemporary and modern look, as well as a great feeling of light and space.
The two-cabin layout has the standard drop-leaf saloon table with seating on either side, and aft facing nav table, with an L-shaped galley which in this case includes a microwave riven by a Sinewave invertor which provides 240v from the battery bank. The owner's cabin is aft to starboard with a large overhead opening hatch and outboard port light for cross ventilation, and as mentioned above this has the wider cabin with larger bed. Opposite then is a head with manual toilet, aft of which is a totally dedicated and roomy shower stall. Aft of this again, and also accessible from the cockpit, is a huge dry storage locker. There is a conventional v-berth forward.
The cockpit has a centreline GRP table with hand and foot rails, and this particular yacht has the teak cockpit floor option, as well as teak seating and teak on the large fold-down swim platform. The cockpit has a smaller locker under the floor as well as a wet locker which is also designed to be able to carry a life-raft. There is a fixed Bimini from which rolls out an awning which goes forward to the vang attachment on the boom and clips out to the lifelines, offering shade across the companionway and entire cockpit. The cockpit also features stereo speakers, a hot and cold shower, and there is a pushpit bracket for a tender outboard.
The instruments on the yacht are Raymarine with a Multi display and autopilot display at the starboard helm, and 7" Axiom plotter at the port helm. There is a VHF radio at the nav' station.
As a 50% share the running costs of the yacht will simply be split 50:50 and it will be a requirement of a partner to become a member of MHYC, one of Sydney's leading sailing clubs and an ideal location to be based for access to the greater harbour, as well as weekends away on the upper side of the Spit Bridge.
