Ali Cat is a 2017 Nautitech Open 40 cruising catamaran exploring the South Pacific and Indian Oceans in search of epic locations to enjoy watersports. For the last 8 years we have been cruising in the South Pacific winter months and New Zealand and Australia during the summer. In 2024 we will begin a journey which will take us into the Indian Ocean. The itinerary will go something like this: Tonga until October; New Zealand November 2023-April 2024; Fiji May-August; Vanuatu September-October; The Solomon Islands November 2024-April 2025;Vanuatu May; Louisiades June; Indonesia July... One of our partners is moving on and so we are now looking for a new ΒΌ partner to share our mission. Ali Cat is a charter version with one cabin dedicated to watersports equipment, she comfortably accommodates up to 6 crew. The boat is well set up for water sports with a scuba compressor and 2 sets of dive gear, spear guns, fishing gear, and inflatable SUP's. We surf, kitesurf, wingfoil, tow foil, prone foil, etc. Our dinghy is not just a tender but also extends the range of our water sports activities by allowing us to get to surf spots and diving locations easily. It also is used for tow foiling and as a rescue vessel. The boat is well equipped for offshore cruising and with a watermaker producing 140 liters an hour, a 4 KW generator and 1000 watts of solar is well set up for cruising to remote locations. Ali Cat's sail inventory includes a Genoa and Genneker as well as mainsail and self tacking Jib.
The budget for repairs and maintenance, upgrades, insurance, etc. Is $60,000 per year, or $15,000 per share. Usage days are anywhere from 60-75 days a year per share.
