Lakemac Heritage Festival Inc. Runs the very successful festival at Toronto foreshore over the Easter weekend in 2017. The festival focuses on classic boats, with vintage and veteran car displays, children's activities (including the Easter egg hunt), live entertainment, the Lake Macquarie Historical Society display, the Vintage Farm Machinery display, market stalls, the Quick n Dirty boat building competition, Art Exhibition, Sail Past and Blessing of the Fleet. It is a jam packed weekend of fun.
The aim of the event is to present a unique festival focussed on classic boats and the history and heritage of Lake Macquarie. Boats must be designed prior to 1990 and can be built of any material.
