Description: Compositi Veloci - NEW BUILD - 14m Tourism Powercat
Compositi Veloci is an Italian boatyard producing fiberglass catamarans characterized by simple but high quality construction and excellent cost/performance ratios. This new production catamaran is a simple, elegant and cost effective tourist boat. Designed for commercial operators that do not need complicated and expensive machines, this large catamaran can be tailored to perform a variety of roles : sightseeing, snorkeling, scuba-diving etc. The boat is built in solid �fiberglass of heavy scantlings to allow years of hard work. The builders have chosen to offer a standard hull that can be completed and outfitted as requested by each owner. The deck layout includes seat modules (number and types to owner�s requirements) for up to about 45 passengers, and a well-equipped refreshments module. This area is covered by a large bimini of solid GRP construction to offer good protection against sunshine and bad weather. Two good sized �full headroom toilets are located forward, inside the hulls. Special consideration has been devoted to make water access easy, with a swim ladder forward and transom platforms aft. This catamaran can be powered by gasoline or diesel engines. In the gasoline version outboards are mounted on brackets, while diesels are installed inboard with a saildrive type propulsion. Service speed varies (depending on power choice) from 12 to 16 knots. Catamarans can easily be powered to reach high speeds but in this case the builders and the designers have chosen medium speeds in order to reduce production and operational costs. �Small, light and relatively inexpensive engines can be used.
