The HARVESTER is a workboat equipped with a frontal conveyor belt, adjustable in depth and equipped with cutter bars (one horizontal and two verticals). The materials collected are then transferred to a central storage conveyor belt that moves them toward the rear or lateral discharging conveyor belt. The discharging conveyor belt, once near the shore, can discharge the weed directly on the ground, on a truck or on another boat.

General Description
Nettuno Motobarche is an Italian shipyard specialized in river, shore and harbour maintenance workboats.
They design and build aquatic weed harvesters in a range of sizes to meet all needs with many models in service in various parts of the world.
The HARVESTER is a workboat equipped with a frontal conveyor belt, adjustable in depth and equipped with cutter bars (one horizontal and two verticals). The materials collected are then transferred to a central storage conveyor belt that moves them toward the rear or lateral discharging conveyor belt.
The discharging conveyor belt, once near the shore, can discharge the weed directly on the ground, on a truck or on another boat.
This discharging conveyor belt is adjustable in height to make unloading easy.
The front conveyor belt may also collect floating waste or semi-submerged material to a depth of 2.5 mt and is designed and built to remove even large and heavy waste (tree trunks, pieces of iron, rubber wheels, etc. ).
The draft can be as low as 30-35 cm. And the boat is designed to operate very close to the shore.
Propulsion can be either with special (anti-weed) propellers or with side paddle-wheels. The propeller version has an extremely good manoeuvrability and in tight situations can rotate on the spot.
