Sometimes something special occurs when designers, architects and builders are willing to push for the next iconic marine creation. From the drawing board of Kit Carlier Designs this is evolving right now. This new power catamaran family gets its advanced naval architecture from Christian Stimson and is built from carbon and exotic composites by the famous Hudson Yacht and Marine shipyard.
The new family of Hudson Powercats are set to be the desired cats for the next decade. The styling is can only be considered utterly beautiful, combining this with incredible performance and a luxury finish throughout that will only please.
Performance will get you wherever you are going quickly, smoothly and smiling. Using advanced foil assisted hull design the Hudson Powercat has environmental appeal as it sheds half its weight to be able to cruise at over 27 knots with a top speed of +35knots. At these speeds the foils ensure a smoother passage and give far greater economy, stretching the range to reach new shores. Solar and lithium battery technology further complement the efficiency at anchor.
Hudson Yachts have built more high-end luxury performance carbon catamarans than any other builder on the planet. Their HH Catamarans are in huge demand and recognised as being the quality standard in fast luxury sailing catamarans that all others are aspiring too. This new powercat will push them successfully into the power catamaran arena with the innovative design and technology they are well acquainted with.
