The 48 takes the one-level living concept and gives it the space it deserves. The saloon runs the full width of the boat with panoramic glazing, a central glass skylight and a sliding deckhouse door with a high-low window that opens the interior straight into the cockpit. On a mooring in the tropics that combination changes how you use a yacht, because the inside and outside stop being separate places.

She is set up for genuine passage-making. 766 litres of fresh water, 570 litres of fuel, an 85 litre holding tank per head, a water accumulator for pressure equalisation and an automatic fire extinguishing system in the engine room. The ground tackle is a 40 kg Delta anchor on 60 metres of chain, run through a 1500 W windlass with wireless remote and chain counter. Two electric Lewmar 65 halyard winches and a 24 V bowthruster mean a couple can still manage her.

The accommodation is arranged around two people living aboard properly. A master cabin forward with an island double and en-suite head with separate shower stall, a VIP cabin with a king-size bed and its own en-suite, and a dedicated storage room with a walk-in wardrobe serving the master.
