The Maxus 35 is Northman's flagship -- CE Category A rated for open water, with the fixed keel, rig and systems to back that rating up rather than just carry the certificate.

NORTHMAN
Northman is Poland's largest sailing yacht manufacturer, producing around 150 boats a year to one construction standard across the entire range -- hand-laid GRP hulls, AIREX-cored sandwich decks, one naval architect designing the whole fleet. In 2017, a production Northman just 6.36m long sailed non-stop around the world via the three Great Capes -- surviving a capsize near Cape Horn -- to become the smallest yacht in history to complete an unassisted solo circumnavigation. That's the build quality behind every Maxus in this range.

EXTERIOR DESIGN & UNDER SAIL
In place of the smaller models' swingkeel, the 35 carries a fixed 1,800kg L-shape cast iron keel drawing 1.95m -- real ballast for real stability on a long reach. The 14m rig carries 58.5m² of sail, sized to keep moving in light air without being a handful when it builds. JEFA DRAGLINK steering on twin wheels gives good visibility forward from either side of the cockpit.

BUILD
Hand-laid GRP hull, AIREX-cored sandwich deck construction, JEFA DRAGLINK steering on twin wheels, and an inboard diesel fitted as standard -- the specification of a much larger yard, at a fraction of the price.
