Description: Cape Adieu Charters - Turnkey Business For Sale
Cape Adieu Charters
We are seeking expressions of interest for this very unique opportunity for a motivated purchaser to acquire a very successful Commercial Charter Business currently operating out of Darwin NT as a "Turnkey Going Concern".

The MV Cape Adieu is a 21.6m Motorsailer that has been fitted with every modern convenience and has been ideally suited for a full range of Charter and Fishing Operations. The vessel currently holds Fishing Tour and Eco-Tourism Licenses for both the WA Kimberly and the Northern Territory Waters.

The MV Cape Adieu was originally built for remote Cray & Shark Fishing in the Great Australian Bight. Since then she has been engaged in a number of fishing operations including: Pearling in the Coral Sea, Cray & Shark Fishing in the Southern Ocean, and Snapper Fishing in the Gulf of Carpentaria. The vessel is a proven performer and has been successfully operating in some of the roughest weather conditions around Australia. For the last 20 years, Cape Adieu has successfully operated as a Sunset Dinner Cruise Vessel and is licensed for 60 passengers in the Darwin Harbour.

About the Business
In June 2003, Cape Adieu Harbour Cruises was established in Darwin. A family run business that has since provided Sunset Dinner Cruises, Private Functions, Charters and Weddings for over 180,000 - 200,000 Local, Interstate & International Clients. The vessel is operating from the heart of Darwin in the best location at the end of the Stokes Hill Tourist Wharf and has continued to operate during Covid19 and is a highly sustainable business.
The Cape Adieu Charter Business is ideally suited for a couple or partnership with an appetite to further develop this already well established operation by offering a new variety of liveaboard sightseeing and fishing tours out of Darwin and also into the WA Kimberlys. The business is ready to walk into and provides liveaboard facilities for the new owner(s) and clients. Cape Adieu Harbour Cruises has a commitment to quality and the highest possible standards in customer service and this remains its guiding focus in the competitive Darwin Tourism Market.

Business Offering
Licensed for 60 day passengers, the vessel currently provides Sunset Dinner Cruises each evening from April to November annually seven days per week. It includes a BYO and Full Liquor Licence and provides three discrete seating areas each with their own facilities. The current business model utilises an on-board Chef that prepares fresh local seafood and a full buffet dinner. This model is flexible and can include cruise only or a menu design that does not require a Chef eg BBQ and local seafood.
Cape Adieu is a member of Tourism Top End and affiliated with major wholesalers including Viator. Its booking systems are fully integrated and online. The success of Cape Adieu Charters can be readily seen on Trip Advisor where the business has won a number of awards.
