Currently operating in the NSW Ocean Trawl Fish Northern Zone, the FV Marissa is a beamy and practical fishing platform, purpose built for trawling the Australian east coast. Purchased by the current owner in 2018, the FV Marissa had an extensive refit with a new insulated and fibreglassed fish room added to the vessel and conversion back to fish trawling operations. The main engine is the highly-regarded and reliable Gardner 8L3B and a turbo-charged 4cyl. Isuzu was recently fitted to drive the fishing gear hydraulics. The layout of the vessel is very-practical, the operation is fuel efficient and the main hull, deck and superstructure are in excellent condition.
The vessel is a turn-key operation and comes with an extensive history of fishing marks generated from over 40 years in the industry.
