10 Yearly Survey Completed - July 2025 (fuel tanks, shaft, rudder, hull condition, refrigeration pressure test and saftey equipment inspected and passed).
The FV Gail Jeanette is configured for Danish Seine fishing and has an impressive track record in the Great Australian Bight and South East (Commonwealth) Trawl Fisheries. The vessel has excellent sea-going capability and catches between 8 to 12 Tonne of Flathead per trip danish-seining in the GABTF. The vessel is suitable for a conversion back to demersal-trawling and there is potential for the vessel to convert to pelagic longling or a large-scale shark operation with a large fish room, refrigerated brine capacity (approx 44 Tonne) and spacious aft-deck area.
Results from the Hull Condition Report conducted in July 2025 as part of 10 yearly survey are available upon request.

RSW Plant: FWD Port and Stbd Brine Tanks - 15 Tonne each with Coils / AFT Brine Tanks 7 Tonne each (with no refrigeration but chilled water can be circulated from the FWD Brine Tanks to chill) - NOTE: Volumes of tanks are estimates and require verification.
Fish Hold: Fish Room Dimensions - Length 4.15m x Width 5.8m x Height 2.05m - Room holds 320 NSW Fish Market Bins.
Cooling System: 2 x Refrigeration Compressors (System cooling brines in engine room and Bock Compressor running fans in room aft of the fish room)
Hydraulic pump driven off main engine operated the net drum, deck capstan and bin lifting davit for fish room (operated by 24V pneumatic coupling)
