Custom Gondola

Replica Venetian gondola 10m length, up to 8 passengers, electric propulsion, no fuel costs. The hull is constructed in Western Red Cedar with fibre glass outer sheath completed in 2006, fully surveyed commercial vessel, Class 2E, an out of water survey being required once every five years, next one due Sep 2030.

The electric propulsion is extremely environmentally friendly with no pollution, no noise or wash, runs on a 36v Minn Kota motor.

Extremely simple operation with virtually no mechanical maintenance or running costs, the AGM batteries charge overnight. The batteries have provided 7 hours continuous running and still showing over 50% power left, there is provision to accommodate an additional set of batteries to effectively double the running time if required, battery life over 5 yrs.

This vessel was hand crafted by one of WA's last wooden boat builders with no expense spared, the vessels intricate wood carvings and traditional lines perfectly capture the spirit of the original Venetian gondolas.

Includes custom built trailer licensed till Apr 2027, tailor made gondola cover and two spare motors.

Currently operating out of Elizabeth Quay, Perth WA for just over 10 years it's now time for me to retire, an opportunity to acquire a unique vessel.
