41' Steber in 2C/3C Survey
Seaquest1 has full 2C Survey, 12 pass and 2crew, plus Stability Book Passed for 18 + 2 for possible future upgrade.
Has Current Cert of Survey and Operation. All Safety up to date and current.
Vessel Currently Operating out of Southport/ Main Beach as a Spanner Crab Boat.
Has a long history in charter, out of Southport/ Mainbeach as well, so all up possible 30yrs, we've owned for 10yrs. U
Has an C9 Acert CAT diesel electronic eng. Coupled to electronic shift, Twin Disc gearbox, shaft drive. The gearbox was replaced Aug. 24 with Brand New one, and new controller. The eng is serviced with CAT oil every 200 hrs, replace oil filter each time as well. It has just been serviced with 9750hrs on the clock. We also use fuel additive each time for extra protection, uses next to no oil between changes and is clean inside rocker cover etc. Coolers and intercooler have been replaced, also eng computer and 1 fuel injector. 5/24.
While the Vessel was slipped for gearbox replacement, it was Antifouled, and anodes replaced. 8/24.
The vessel cruises @ 9.5 knts for 1600 rpm for best economy and up to 17knts/2200 rpm for sprint. Weighing in at approx 12 Tonne and a full keel, makes this 1987 model vessel very stable and with the lrg flared bow, give her great punching/parting the sea ability.
The Hull was soda blasted about 5yrs ago to remove excess antifoul that had built up over the yrs. They overbuild these old girls, very thick glass, compared with modern builds.
The hull has never leaked since I've owned it, and has 2 cutlass bearings & pss dripless seal gland, also has high water alarm and auto bilges plus manual in the eng room incase of any ingress.
Carries 1200 lts fuel in 2 tanks and 120 lts of water for sink and Shower.
Maserator toilet and shower room, against back wall outside cabin opposite second station.
4 bunks/berths in fo'c'sle, plus plenty of storage throughout the vessel. Has a Lrg esky mid ships and bulk heads separating all areas.
Vx 2 furuno sounder plotter radar and furuno auto- pilot. Electric Anchor winch heaps of power, and Manson galv. Plough.
70m chain plus Cqr Anchor.
Can arrange viewing or test run but need a couple of days notice generally as it is used for Skippers work as weather and markets permit.
Option to buy Brand New C9 Acert eng. As spare and /or recond. Twin Disc gearbox.
